Change to Upcoming Council Meeting

There has been a change in time for the upcoming council meeting due to an event that evening that the hostesses will be attending. We will gather at 4 and the meeting will start exactly at 4:30. It will be only an hour long. Afterwards, those who want to could go to dinner somewhere together. Hope this still works for everyone and let me know if you have a conflict. Hope to see you there!

A "Welcome Back" dinner

Three involved members of OYA, John Miller, Nephon (Brian) Andrews, and Tim Walker are on a pilgrimage of Eastern Europe. They will be back in early Novemember, so to celebrate and hear about the trip, we are having a pitch-in dinner in their honor. There we will get to visit with them and have them talk about their experiences. Here are the details:

When: Sunday, November 6 at 6:00
Where: Stephanida Bauman's home
What: pitch in dinner/socializing

For directions, more information and/or to find out what to bring call Stephanida at 254-9294.

Vincennes Pilgrimage

The Marion College OCF is planning a pilgrimage to Vincennes. At a Catholic Church there is a 1st or 2nd century woman martyr buried. Because she is such an early saint, she isn't Catholic because she was martyred before the church split. She is believed to have been only 12 years old, and martyred in Rome. Here are the details about the trip:

When: Saturday, Nov. 12 - we would leave around 8
The drive: about 2 hours
Cost: help with gas plus money for lunch
How long: unknown, but not overnight
Questions: call Stephanida (254-9294) or Elena (253-9969)
