July 2 @ 5 pm - 1st Sunday Supper of the summer! (this is also the name day of OYA's patron saint - St. John of San Francisco and we will have an akathist to him at 5:00, followed by a meal)

July 10-16 - Bulgarian Diocese youth and young adult conference (all are invited and details have been sent out and more are to come)

August 11-13 - 2nd Annual OYA Retreat @ Camp Rotary, Crawfordsville IN

Sept. 1-3 - OYA campout

Our Youth

There will be a planning meeting on June 15 at 6:30 to plan for a teen event. The teen event itself is scheduled for June 25 from 5-8 at St. George's. You don't have to be able to come to both; you could plan and not go or not plan and go to the teen thing to help out. Just let me know either way! If you have questions, as always, you can e-mail to orthodoxyoungadultsofin@hotmail.com.

It's fun to plan and even more fun to be apart of the activities! The youth are such great kids and it just makes you feel young again! :) Please pray about this and consider it. Our youth are so important to the church's future! And they need OUR help. Please keep them in your prayers. Any help you can give will make a difference!

OYA Council Meeting

Have you ever thought, "Oh it would be so great to get people together and do _______!"?

Well, for those of you who don't know OYA has a council, a small group of people who plan and carry out events and activities for OYA. We will be having a meeting next month to get things flowing again with OYA. If you would like to be part of it or just come this once or just sit in or just come for the food... whatever - then come! We will be having 2-3 council members who will no longer be able to be on the council, so there are some seats to fill!!! So if you have a great idea you want to see happen, then come on down! :)

Reminder about IMA

This is a reminder about our IMA trip on Thursday, May 4th. See the details below. We will go to Banura 1 Restaurant unless specified differently. Bring $10-15 for dinner. After the museum everyone is invited to Carrie and Hannah's for ice cream! Hope to see you there!
