OYA Council Meeting - Sept 9

The OYA Council met on Sept. 9 and had a very productive meeting. We had some announcments (see Upcoming Events) and updates. We discussed a draft of the mission statement and chose a logo. (Thanks go to Nephon, Melanie, John R. and Carrie.) Next we discussed breifly the different responsibilities of the Council. Our biggest discussion was sorting out the many ideas we came up with at the last meeting. Many committees are forming and things will be happening so be on the lookout for posts about them. Our next meeting will be October 7 at 6:00 pm at Carrie and Melanie's home. This is a really exciting time and it's not too late to get involved!
